"Oh but I'm giving people jobs when I buy fast fashion!" This excuse will not work on us anymore.

Firstly, if there is consumer demand: companies will change. Proof is in the pudding- change is already afoot. Secondly, silence is deathly. We don't have time to continue blindly buying fast fashion; we have to act now. Lastly, the slow shift happening in the fashion industry means companies are changing step by step. Perhaps jobs would be lost if change happened overnight, but it looks like positive change will be slow, and companies will adjust their processes, rather than throw workers out on the streets.

Just think: yes, you're giving people jobs, but wouldn't it be best if you were giving them GREAT jobs? That is possible when you shop for ethical fashion.

What is ethical fashion? @safia_minney explains this perfectly. Doesn't it seem crazy to think we mindlessly buy clothing without knowing where it came from? Clothes do not appear out of magic and they aren't even made by machines: they're constructed by real life people who generally work 12+ hours a day but can't even afford to feed their families.
